On December 03, 2018, at 11:00 the hearing of complaint of the plaintiffs Zaza Saralidze and Malkhaz Machalakashvili against the defendants, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia is called to invalidate the decision (action) by which the plaintiffs were restricted to the right of peaceful assembly and were not allowed to pitch the tents on the pavement adjacent to the Parliament building.

We will remind you that the meeting held on October 31, 2018 was postponed with the reason to introduce of additional evidence by the defendants and we hope that at today's session it will be possible to complete the consideration of the case.

The lawyers of the Georgian Young Lawyers Association and Human Rights Education and Monitoring Center (EMC) protect the interests of Zaza Saralidze and Malkhaz Machalikashvili in the court. This dispute is aimed at eliminating arbitrary and illegal practice of prohibition of pitching of the tents from the MIA.
