Repeat elections of the October 1, 2012 parliamentary majoritarian elections to be held on October 14, 2012, will be observed by Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association in all election precincts.

GYLA’s observers will monitor repeat elections in N5 election precincts of Sighnaghi Election District N13; N4 election precinct of Gori N32 Election District; precincts №1, № 2, №3, №8, №9, №10, №13, №45, №46 of Khashuri Election District N35.

GYLA remains hopeful that polling will be conducted in a peaceful environment and voters’ will expressed at ballot boxes will be adequately reflected in summary protocols of the polling.

Hereby we’d like to also note that GYLA’s appeal to deem results of precinct 9 in Khashuri Election District N35 null and void was granted.
