Tbilisi City Court Suspended the Competition at Public Broadcaster

Tbilisi City Court admitted a lawsuit filed by former director of Public Broadcaster, Giorgi Baratashvili, seeking annulment of the March 4, 2013 decision of the Board of Trustees and compensation for lost wages.

Preparatory phase of the trial has been scheduled to commence at 12:00 on April 8, 2013.

It is important that the court suspended an open competition for the position of a general director of the legal entity of public law until final decision is delivered.

Giorgi Baratashvili’s interests will be defended before court by lawyers of the Georgian Media Legal Defense Center.
