The Gori Office of the GYLA has been headed by Ketevan Bebiashvili since its founding.                                                      

General Information

The Gori Office of the Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association opened in 2000. Initially, the main area of the Office’s activities was providing IDPs with legal aid.   

From 2001, the Gori Office of the GYLA started to carry out extensive activities in three areas: raising legal awareness of the population; legal aid, with a particular emphasis on such areas as legal aid for IDPs and protection of their rights; implementation of norms of the General Administrative Code; promotion of the development of the civil society sector; monitoring of cases of human rights violations. 

Coverage (activity) area: Shida Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions (municipalities of Gori, Kareli, Khashuri, Kaspi, Akhaltsikhe, Adigeni, Aspindza, Akhalkalaki, and Ninotsminda).

The Gori Office of the GYLA is guided by the four main strategic goals of the organization.
